Brian Haw protested outside the Houses of Parliament for ten years. Day and night, he campaigned for those affected by war. He asked our leaders to “Stop killing kids”.

Artist Amanda Ward Culver has created a statue of Brian Haw to honour the personal sacrifice he made in the name of peace. Through the support of generous donors, the statue has now found a home at the School of Historical Dress in Lambeth, just south of the Thames, with Brian facing the Imperial War Museum. The statue represents the continued wishes for peace of people from London, across the UK and around the world.

The statue was unveiled on March 16 2025. The event was attended by our supporters and we were delighted to welcome some fantastic speakers to mark the occasion. The speeches, music and blessing from the event were captured on film by our friend Jeremy Gilley of Peace One Day, and the footage has been edited by Jaime Taylor of Postcode Films.
